Fjällfest 2012, from the arty side.

Fjällfest 2012 i Storulvån! En fantastiskt fin helg med toppturer, platturer, föredrag, filmer, öl och party. Dessa bilder är blott några av alla jag tog men de utgör tillsammans en kanske lite mer stilla och konstnärlig vy av den annars ganska intensiva upplevelsen.

Höns, barn, får, hundar, gamla, unga, vin, sång och glädje. Ett lätt snöfall i luften, en varm mule på kinden,  ägg överallt. Smedstorp är nära, alltid.

Icehotel in February.

I have been in Jukkasjärvi many times but never during February. Wonderful to visit and work there when the sun has come back, shining so bright every day. During the construction period in December the sun is below the horison and kaamos, the blue hour, seem to last for hours. It's a different athmosphere now, different people working and lots of activities going on down on the river. Sleddogs, snowmobiles, cars, small planes, people walking and skiing, Torne river is big and holds tons of space for everyone.
